How do I update my card, switch plan, or cancel?

Open the customer portal at /subscribe?manage=1. Stripe handles billing, invoices, card changes, and cancellation.
Do I need a subscription to read roasts?

No. The public desk stays free. Paid plans remove ads, unlock the fuller archive, and support the site.
When do ads disappear?

As soon as your paid sign-in is active on this browser. If you switch devices or browsers, request a fresh sign-in link.
How do refunds work?

Monthly plans do not refund the current month. Annual plans have a 14-day refund window from the start of each annual term. After that, cancellation stops the next renewal.
What if my card fails?

Stripe retries automatically and emails you after each failed attempt. If every retry fails, the subscription drops back to Free.
Is payment handled on Roast Station?

No. Stripe handles the payment flow and stores the card details. Roast Station never sees your full card number.
