Morens Pleaded Guilty in Greenbelt to Hiding Grant Emails

He moved the Wuhan-grant chat to Gmail so FOIA would miss it.

David Morens pleaded guilty Tuesday in Greenbelt federal court to conspiring to conceal federal records so FOIA would miss the COVID grant emails he stashed on Gmail. This Fauci senior adviser figured his personal inbox was the perfect spot for chatting about reviving that canceled bat-coronavirus grant with the Wuhan lab sub-award. He even pledged to help get the funding back and push against the lab-leak idea at the same time. Then he looked Congress in the eye and denied he was trying to hide anything from transparency laws. Now the sentencing is set for November 12 with up to five years hanging over him. Fauci got charged with exactly nothing. The same experts who treated the lab-leak question like it was radioactive somehow needed secret Gmails to keep that Wuhan grant conversation going. They sold us total transparency and follow the science while this guy was running the real discussion off the official books. The irony is so thick you could trip over it.
